After two years of interregnum, due to the pandemic situation in the country, we were finally able to reopen the doors of our facilities in São Lourenço do Douro to the community. Thus, it was with great pleasure that, on March 30th and April 6th, we received a visit from two groups of students and teachers from the nearby basic school of Sande. Visitors were guided by the different sectors of the company and had the opportunity to follow the various processes that granite is subjected to until it is transformed into marketable products.
With these visits, Granidera hopes to promote this industry, so important in the economy of the municipality and the country, and, at the same time, to have provided these young people with an interesting and enlightening day.
