In the past few weeks, Granidera has been visited by groups of students from local schools who, continuing the tradition, came to sing the Janeiras. To sing the “Janeiras” is an old Portuguese tradition where, in the beginning of January, groups of people wishes a happy new year by singing traditional songs along the streets. This time the groups came from the basic schools of Sande and Cruzinha (Alpendorada). throughout the years Granidera offices have been visited by this groups of students that come to sing the Janeiras, a fact that demonstrates the good relationship between the company and the surrounding community. The group was listened to with great pleasure by members of the Administration and by some Granidera employees.
